Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead daily accounting operations with a focus on AP/AR in a fully onsite, manufacturing environment. You will ensure accurate processing, support month-end close, and uphold accounting policies while guiding a growing team.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and strong ERP/Excel skills to drive process improvements and accuracy across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting processes, procedures, and documentation to support consistency and accuracy across the accounting function.
• Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, collections, and related transactions.
• Serve as a resource for the accounting team, providing guidance on transaction processing, issue resolution, and accounting best practices.
• Assist with oversight of AP operations and provide support during periods of increased workload.
• Review and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Manage accounting activities related to payroll, fixed assets, inventory, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Support month-end close activities, financial reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for leadership.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Help prioritize team workload and contribute to the development and training of accounting staff.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, procurement, human resources, and other business leaders to support organizational objectives and resolve accounting matters.
