Job summary

Talentify is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead day-to-day accounting operations for a growing, multi-site stone fabrication company. This on-site role oversees AR, billing, month-end close, and internal controls, partnering with leadership to deliver timely financial information.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in progressive accounting roles, prior supervision of staff, and strong proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles, AR, billing, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience supervising accounting staff or mentoring teammates.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or project-based accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support day-to-day activities of the accounting team, providing guidance and mentoring.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, and cash application.
• Review invoices and transactions for accuracy and proper documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing and accounting issues.
