Vitaver & Associates, Inc is seeking an Accountant to work onsite in Juno Beach, FL for a 12+ month contract with potential extensions. The role focuses on GAAP adherence, month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and SOX controls, with heavy emphasis on internal controls and accurate financial reporting.

Daily duties include coordinating with IBM MXDC teams, preparing management reports, and ensuring timely, precise financial statements.

Qualifications

Experience with GAAP and month-end close processes.
Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations.
SOX controls and internal controls experience.
Experience with financial reporting and accounting systems.

Responsabilités

Collaborate with internal partners and IBM MXDC to support accounting operations.
Independently manage month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Apply GAAP, policies, and controls for accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Use accounting systems and reporting tools to analyze data and resolve issues.
Research accounting matters and propose practical solutions for business objectives.
Prepare timely management reporting and support external reporting requirements.
Execute SOX controls and maintain data integrity through established processes.
