QXO, located onsite in Daytona Beach, FL, is seeking a Staff Accountant to ensure accuracy of financial records through journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting with 1+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. Onsite presence of 2–3 days per week is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 1+ years of general accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, an array of formulas, and data analysis.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Mansioni

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries with supporting documentation and adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Perform month-end analytical review of trial balance accounts and explain material fluctuations.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Communicate with other departments, vendors, and customers.
• Collaborate with operational teams to research accounting issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation and schedules.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned.
