Raytheon Technologies invites applications for a 3rd Shift Etch Process Support Engineer in Andover, MA. The role focuses on etching for gallium arsenide/nitride and III-V focal plane arrays within the RF Microelectronics department.

Responsibilities include process engineering, training manufacturing personnel, and rapid issue resolution on the shop floor. The ideal candidate should have a STEM degree, 5+ years in semiconductor processing (etching/plating), and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or a related advanced degree with 3+ years in semiconductor processing (etching/plating).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance access.

Responsibilities

• Process wafers to create FETs, MMICs, and FPAs in a cleanroom environment.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight and influence policies and procedures.
• Review wafers on hold for evaluation and disposition.
• Collaborate in small cross-functional teams to maintain/improve production processes.
• Communicate with multiple stakeholders to ensure resources and quick issue resolution.
