Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA, seeks a deposition process support engineer for a 5th shift in a 100% onsite role. You will support gallium arsenide and III‑V focal plane array fabrication within RFMicro, handling evaporation, lift-off, sputter, and CVD/ALD processes.

Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for quick issue resolution on the production floor. You will review lots, assist tool qualification, analyze data with MATLAB/Python/SQL/JMP, and drive efficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree plus 3 years in semiconductor processing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Process wafers to create FETs, MMICs, and FPAs in a cleanroom environment.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight.
• Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
• Review and disposition wafers on hold for evaluation in the work center.
• Collaborate in small, cross-functional teams to improve production processes.
• Communicate actively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure resources and timelines.
