Responsibilities

• Monitor roadway conditions using CCTV, traffic data, and apps like Waze and Google Traffic.
• Detect incidents quickly and coordinate response with DOT, law enforcement, and field crews.
• Dispatch maintenance teams for urgent and routine roadway needs.
• Update Variable and Dynamic Message Signs to inform travelers in real time.
• Verify traveler information across DOT platforms.
• Track closures, hotspots, work zones, and equipment issues.
