• Update Variable and Dynamic Message Signs to inform travelers in real time.
• Verify traveler information across DOT platforms.
• Track closures, hotspots, work zones, and equipment issues.

What You Will Do

GFT is seeking a part-time Transportation Management Center (TMC) Operator to join our Practice or CBG Team in Chipley, FL! This role follows an onsite work model, requiring regular attendance at our Chipley, FL office.

We are currently offering the following positions for qualified candidates to fill current needs:

• Full-Time (40 hours a week/with benefits, flexible shifts)

What You’ll Be Challenged To Do

A Traffic Systems Dispatcher/Operator and Data Collection is responsible for Traffic Operations situational awareness, data entry and monitoring a designated region, district and roadway for normal and emergency conditions to identify incidents, coordinate response and update status for DOT and Consultant management in a 24/7/365 environment, using various software, CCTV and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

Education | Experience:

Compensation

The range for this position is salary range is $20-22 per hour. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
