Job summary

GFT is seeking a part-time Transportation Management Center Lead Supervisor to join our team in Chipley, FL. This onsite role requires attendance at the Chipley office and oversees RTMC operations, incident response, and shift supervision.

The position stresses training support, QA/QC, and coordination with law enforcement and FDOT. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of supervisory or RTMC experience and knowledge of ITS principles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years RTMC experience for internal candidates.
• External candidates require 4-5 years supervisory or related experience.
• SunGuide experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ITS principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RTMC Operators to monitor roadway conditions and incidents.
• Oversee SunGuide operations including CCTV, VDS, DMS, and events.
• Provide real-time decision support during elevated incidents per SOPs.
• Coordinate with FHP, law enforcement, fire/EMS, Road Rangers, and FDOT.
• Support training, QA/QC, and weekly operational reporting.
