Job summary

GFT is seeking a part-time Transportation Management Center (TMC) Lead Supervisor to join our team in Chipley, FL. This onsite role supports the RTMC operations, shift supervision, and coordination with public safety partners.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of RTMC/supervisory experience, familiarity with SunGuide, ITS principles, and strong leadership. The role involves varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-4 years RTMC experience for internal candidates.
External candidates: minimum 4-5 years supervisory or related experience.
High school diploma required.
SunGuide® experience preferred.
Knowledge of ITS principles.

Responsibilities

Supervise RTMC Operators to ensure accurate monitoring of roadway conditions, incidents, congestion, and system alerts.
Coordinate with law enforcement, fire/EMS, Road Rangers, and FDOT personnel on incidents and emergencies.
Provide real-time operational decision support during elevated incidents and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Assist with coaching, training and QA/QC for operators.
Maintain incident documentation and weekly operational reporting.
