Job summary

GFT in Chipley, FL seeks a part-time Transportation Management Center Relief Supervisor to join our team onsite. The role involves monitoring traffic, incidents, and RTMC operations, coordinating Road Rangers, and supporting 24/7 shift coverage.

Ideal candidates will have 4–5 years of supervisory or related experience, a high school diploma, and SunGuide experience preferred, with ITS principles knowledge to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 4+ years RTMC experience (internal candidates).
• 5+ years supervisory or related experience (external candidates).
• SunGuide experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ITS principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor roadway conditions, incidents, congestion, and alerts from SunGuide, WAZE, FHP CAD, RWIS, 511, and CCTV.
• Dispatch Road Rangers and log activities accurately.
• Coordinate with RTMC staff and external agencies including FHP, police, fire, and EMS.
• Prepare materials for major incident reviews (RISC, MIE).
• Operate SunGuide configuration updates and produce weekly operational reports.
