Job summary

Siemens Energy and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking a Wind Technician in Wellsburg, IA to support on‑site maintenance, diagnostics, and service reporting for our Onshore Wind Power division in North America.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and execute repairs with a focus on safety and reliability. The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience and hands‑on mechanical/electrical expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Preventive maintenance of wind turbine components and subsystems.
• Ability to read diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• 50% Turbine maintenance and repair, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• 30% Technical operations and diagnostics using SCADA and data analysis.
