Job summary

IKM Consultants AS is seeking a Mechanical Field Engineer in Bergen to oversee mechanical completion (MC) and punch-out of mechanical and piping systems on onshore facilities. The role requires coordinating MC documentation, red-line mark-ups, test reports, and bolt tensioning documentation, while ensuring quality and safety standards are met during completion activities.

Ideal candidates have technical college or engineering degree and 1-2 years of field engineer experience on onshore

Qualifications

• Technical college or engineering degree is preferred; a relevant trade certificate in mechanical fields will also be considered.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience as a field engineer on onshore facilities.
• Desirable experience or familiarity with ProCoSys and PIMS 365.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical completion (MC) and punch out of mechanical and piping systems.
• Prepare and follow up MC documentation, including red-line mark-ups, test reports, and bolt tensioning documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards during completion activities.

Skills
