You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.

Responsibilities and Duties

Contribute to conceptual engineering, FEED, and detailed design for onshore and offshore facilities (Greenfield and Brownfield).

Size, specify, and prepare datasheets for mechanical/process equipment (vessels, tanks, pumps, compressors, turbines, fans, blowers, utilities, etc.).

Develop technical specifications, requisitions, and bid evaluations for equipment packages.

Perform engineering calculations including hydraulics, relief/vent sizing, PSV and control valve sizing, tank venting, and supervision of pipe stress analysis.

Prepare and review P&IDs, flow diagrams, equipment layouts, and offshore modification permit packages (SFDs, SAFE charts, fire & gas layouts, permit letters).

Conduct engineering studies, hazard/risk assessments, debottlenecking analyses, and regulatory compliance checks (BSEE, USCG, ABS).

Prepare bid packages and review vendor drawings for compliance with project requirements.

Coordinate with drafting/design teams to deliver accurate drawings and layouts.

Monitor and report progress against project scope, schedule, and budget.

Support procurement, vendor interfaces, and regulatory submittals.

Perform site visits (onshore and offshore) to collect data, survey existing facilities, and support upgrades or modifications.

Provide assistance during construction, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.

Conduct vendor shop inspections to verify compliance with specifications.

Work closely with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated designs.

Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Participate in project meetings and contribute to planning and execution strategies.
