Job summary

Lackawanna College is seeking an Online Student Experience Coordinator to enhance student success and retention for online learners. You will collaborate with Admissions, Advising, Student Success, and eLearning to provide tech and learning support that drives academic achievement.

You will onboard new online students, assist with registration, and serve as a main point of contact for inquiries. Experience with Canvas LMS and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Coursework in instructional technology, education, student development, and/or higher ed leadership preferred.
• Experience with online coursework, advising, student support, or related areas desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enhance student success and retention initiatives for online learners.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Advising, Student Success, and eLearning to support students.
• Onboard online students and connect them with needed college services.
• Advise online students to monitor graduation progress and provide referrals.
• Oversee early alert and retention processes to support at‑risk online students.
