Job summary

ShopRite’s East Haven location is seeking an Online Shopping Manager to direct the Online Shopping Department, lead associates, and ensure outstanding Customer Experience. This role focuses on achieving sales, profitability, safety, and presentation standards in a busy, retail environment.

The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage day-to-day department operations while upholding safety and QA policies. Excellent service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English fluently
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift
• Ability to perform basic computer functions
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and handle dust/cleaning agents
• Ability to climb a ladder to access items
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way
• Ability to lead and engage associates toward department goals

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Online Shopping Department to meet sales, profit, and customer experience goals
• Maintain safety, food handling, QA standards, and department cleanliness
• Onboard and train department associates; provide feedback and coaching
• Lead associates to collaborate across store departments and deliver a positive customer experience
• Ensure accurate pricing, stocking, merchandising, and use of department systems
