Job summary

ShopRite of East Haven is seeking a dedicated Non-Foods Manager to direct the department and its associates in achieving sales, profit, and customer experience goals. The role requires leadership, safety adherence, and a focus on presentation and efficiency.

Responsibilities include training new associates, maintaining accurate pricing and stock, and ensuring friendly, prompt service to customers while complying with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for full shift.
• Able to operate basic computer functions.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 60 lbs.
• Able to interact with Customers in a friendly way.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the Non-Foods Department to meet sales and department goals.
• Enforce safety policies and proper equipment use.
• Train and develop department Associates with feedback.
• Maintain accurate pricing, signage, stocking, and product rotation.
• Ensure customer experiences are friendly and efficient.
