Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking a School Operations Manager to supervise the operations team (Registrar, Testing Manager, Office Administrator, Attendance and Truancy Coordinator) and collaborate with the Michigan Online School leadership to implement standardized processes across a state-wide online program.

Responsibilities include overseeing student records, attendance, testing, and facilities, while ensuring compliance with state laws and sponsor requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience in a school setting preferred and knowledge of educational regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee student records, attendance tracking, testing coordination, and office/facilities management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and improve school procedures.
• Develop and archive operational workflows aligned with Accel organization goals.
• Lead the school operations team and participate in the leadership team.
• Stay current with state laws and sponsor policies affecting operations.
