Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking a School Operations Manager to supervise the operations team (Registrar, Testing Manager, Office Administrator, Attendance and Truancy Coordinator) and collaborate with the Michigan Online School leadership to design, implement, and document procedures across daily operations in compliance with sponsor and state regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, plus leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong spreadsheet skills including formulas.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Experience managing regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local operations team: registrar, testing manager, office administrator, attendance and truancy coordinator.
• Act as liaison with internal staff and external stakeholders to resolve issues and streamline procedures.
• Develop and document school procedures aligned with Accel’s goals and policies.
• Lead the school leadership team and ensure compliance with state and sponsor regulations.
• Audit procedures and implement improvements; stay updated on education laws.
