Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a Manager of Faculty Operations to coordinate scheduling, onboarding, and resource access for the Online MSN-Direct Entry program. You will support teaching excellence, faculty development, and accreditation prep in partnership with the Program Chair.

The role emphasizes operations, SOP adherence, and cross-functional communication to foster an inclusive, efficient academic community. US-resident employees may participate in remote work arrangements as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing.
• 3 years of experience as a faculty member at an institution of higher education.
• Online teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with faculty management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate faculty teaching schedules, classroom assignments, and coverage for absences.
• Assist with faculty onboarding, orientation, and training logistics.
• Provide guidance to faculty on the use of institutional technology and resources.
• Assist faculty in accessing instructional materials, technology support, and student information systems.
• Conduct classroom observation process in alignment with SOPs.
• Ensure pre-term and end-of-term course activities are completed in conjunction with SOPs.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive environment among faculty.
• Monitor the development and fulfillment of faculty development plans and the completion of aligned development activities.
• Ensure faculty complete all required development and training.
• Collaborate with Faculty Development Specialists to coach and develop faculty instructional strategies.
• Provide support to faculty meetings, workshops, and development/training activities.
• Assist with accreditation, regulatory, or advisory board materials.
