Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a Manager, Faculty Operations to support the Program Chair (Pre-Licensure) for the Online MSN-Direct Entry program. This role coordinates faculty operations, onboarding, scheduling, and resource access to ensure high-quality teaching and learning environments.

It also supports faculty development and accreditation-related activities. The position involves monitoring faculty performance, promoting collaboration, and serving as a primary contact for operational needs

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing is required.
• 3 years of experience as a faculty member at a higher education institution.
• Online teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with faculty management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate faculty teaching schedules, classroom assignments, and coverage for absences.
• Assist with faculty onboarding, orientation, and training logistics.
• Provide guidance to faculty on institutional technology and resources.
• Assist faculty in accessing instructional materials, technology support, and student information systems.
• Conduct classroom observation in alignment with SOPs.
• Ensure pre-term and end-of-term course activities meet SOPs.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive environment among faculty.
• Monitor faculty development plans and ensure completion of activities.
• Collaborate with Faculty Development Specialists to coach instructional strategies.
• Support materials for accreditation and committee meetings.
• Monitor faculty performance standards and prepare leadership reports.
• Maintain up-to-date faculty contact lists and communications.
• Serve as a point of contact for operational questions from faculty.
