Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking an Administrative Professional to support online learners within the CSU Online and Advising teams. This hybrid role assists with registration, onboarding, and navigating university systems for non-degree and degree-seeking students.

The position reports to the Lead Academic Advisor, with responsibilities including data tracking, inbox management, and coordination with the advising team to enhance learner persistence and success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 completed college credits required.
• Bachelor’s degree plus at least one year of experience preferred.
• Experience in a college/university setting and direct learner interaction.
• Experience using Banner, EAB Navigate, Salesforce, and Canvas.
• Experience supporting distance learners with technology and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support newly registered learners in online coursework, including registration guidance.
• Provide information on Canvas, RAMweb, tuition, drops, withdrawals, appeals, and university processes.
• Connect learners with appropriate university resources for prerequisites or programs.
• Orient online undergraduate learners and conduct proactive outreach by phone and email.
• Manage Salesforce cases and the Advising Team inbox with timely, learner‑centered replies.
• Track data related to Tentative Transfer Evaluations and other learner retention activities.
• Collaborate with the advising team on initiatives and adapt to changing needs.
