Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education (or equivalent) is required.
• 2+ years of K-6 teaching experience with a strong grasp of phonics, decoding and reading fundamentals.
• Tech-savvy with a reliable laptop, internet, and quiet workspace.
• Maintains professionalism and effectiveness while working with competing priorities and diverse student needs.
• Creates inclusive learning environments where students feel respected, valued, and supported.
• Demonstrates resilience and flexibility when addressing complex academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges.
• Experience supporting English learners and multilingual students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 Structured Literacy lessons over video calls using our tech platform.
• Assess and tailor instruction using individualized assessments and instruction.
• Support students across North America in core literacy skills (phonics, decoding, reading).
