Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Oregon seeks an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to efficiently assemble customer online orders with focus on freshness and accuracy. You will interact with customers, scan items, bag orders, and ensure correct substitutions when needed.

This role requires strong communication, ability to work without supervision, and attention to detail in a fast-paced store environment. Training includes POS use, order handling, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.

• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for on-line orders with emphasis on freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for on-line orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver/load orders to customers' cars for pick-up.
• Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up time.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to applicable laws, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders, store products in appropriate temperature zones, and ensure order accuracy.
