Smith's Food & Drug Centers is hiring an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to assemble customers' online orders for pickup at our store. You will select and gather products with focus on freshness, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars when they arrive.

You'll work as part of the e-Commerce team, communicate substitutions, maintain quality, follow safety guidelines, and provide a positive shopping experience that encourages customers to return for online orders.

Competenze

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for on-line orders efficiently with attention to freshness.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection for on-line orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to cars at pick up.
• Scan and bag orders on the go following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and food safety procedures.
• Receive orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions in the note section.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items.
• Communicate with customers via a portable phone; respond professionally.
• Retrieve orders from staging locations and load into customers' cars.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage return to online shopping.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Follow substitutions policies for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments.
• Manage conflict in a constructive, cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
