Job Description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, paying attention to freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars for pickup. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat online shopping. Demonstrate Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsibly select and gather products for online orders, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Initiate and complete the order selection process.
• Assemble orders, process transactions, and load orders into customers' cars.
• Scan and bag items following standards while on the go.
• Communicate substitutions or issues to customers at pickup.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for shopping experience.
• Follow safety, legal, and company policies.
• Store products at proper temperatures.
• Follow instructions carefully, including notes on orders.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone.
• Verify order accuracy and load into customers' vehicles.
• Process orders through POS systems.
• Handle out-of-stock substitutions appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas.
• Report discrepancies and equipment issues.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Support training of new team members.
• Maintain productivity standards.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with integrity and confidentiality.
