Job description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, focusing on freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars for pickup. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat online shopping. Uphold the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Responsible for selecting and gathering products for online orders with attention to quality and efficiency.
2. Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' online orders.
3. Assemble orders, process payments, and deliver orders to customers’ cars at pickup.
4. Scan and bag items following bagging standards.
5. Communicate substitutions or order exceptions to customers during pickup.
6. Ensure customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness are met or exceeded.
7. Adhere to all relevant laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
8. Store products in appropriate temperature zones according to guidelines.
9. Follow specific instructions provided in order notes.
10. Ensure all items are of high quality and freshness.
11. Respond professionally to customer calls via portable phones.
12. Retrieve, verify, and load customer orders into vehicles.
13. Provide positive customer service experiences to promote repeat business.
14. Process orders through the POS system.
15. Handle out-of-stock items with appropriate substitutions per policies.
16. Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment.
17. Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
18. Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
19. Assist in training new team members.
20. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
21. Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
22. Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.
23. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
24. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
