Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, in a warehouse or production environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier

Essential Job Functions:

• Select and gather products for online orders efficiently, maintaining quality and freshness.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process payments, and load orders into customers' cars.
• Scan and bag orders following standards.
• Communicate substitutions or order exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding shopping experience, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow all safety, legal, and company policies and procedures.
• Handle orders from the Order Selector, store products correctly, and ensure order accuracy.
• Read and follow specific instructions, including notes.
• Ensure all items are of high quality and freshness.
• Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone.
• Load orders into customers' vehicles, ensuring order accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service to promote repeat business.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Determine suitable substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies and equipment issues promptly.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.
