Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)
Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat online shopping. As an In-Store Grocery Shopper, you will initiate and complete the selection process for online orders. The Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes coupons and payments, and delivers and loads orders into customers' cars. You will scan and bag orders, following all standards, and communicate any substitutions or issues to customers at pick-up.
You will ensure customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness are met, adhering to all laws, safety procedures, and company guidelines. Responsibilities include storing products in optimal temperature zones, ensuring quality and freshness, and maintaining organization and cleanliness.
You will also be responsible for order accuracy, loading orders into cars, processing transactions via POS, and handling substitutions for out-of-stock items. Additionally, you will report discrepancies, inspect equipment, perform opening and closing procedures, and assist in training new team members.
Success in this role requires the ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, act with integrity, follow directions, and support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. The position requires performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
