Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas, is seeking an Online Order Picker to prepare online customer orders with speed and accuracy. You’ll provide excellent service, handle substitutions, and ensure correct pricing and packaging for pickup.

Qualifications

• Six or more months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum age 16 (21 in Louisiana) to work with the company.
• May require certifications where applicable (TABC/LACT/AATC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares online orders by accurately selecting products from shelves for pickup.
• Identifies out-of-stocks, suggests substitutions of equal value, and applies ads.
• Ensures correct checkout totals by weighing, scanning and pricing items.
• Stays current on product knowledge and food safety standards for quality.
• Bags and loads orders into customers' vehicles, maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Maintains safe, clean workspace and follows tender policies for payments.
• Opens to customer questions, offers substitutions and responds to complaints.
