Job summary

You will handle substitutions, ensure correct checkout totals, and stay up-to-date on product knowledge and safety standards. The role involves lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and working a flexible schedule in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Six or more months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum of 16 years of age required; 21 years of age required in Louisiana.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares online customer orders by selecting products from shelves and organizing for pickup in a timely manner.
• Identifies out-of-stocks, recommends substitutions, and promotes advertised specials.
• Ensures accurate checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintains product knowledge and food safety standards for quality and freshness.
• Places orders in storage at proper temperature and retrieves before customer arrival.
• Bags and loads orders into customer vehicle; provides substitution options as needed.
• Maintains a friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude and answers questions.
• Remains familiar with product codes, ads, and special items.
• Follows tender policies for checks, credit, debit, coupons, and EBT.
• Maintains safe, sanitary workspace and cleans spills as needed.
• Uses suggestive selling to promote product sales.
