Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas is seeking staff to prepare online customer orders with speed and accuracy. You will provide excellent customer service, stay current on product selection and safety standards, and assist customers with substitutions and promotions.

Responsibilities include organizing orders for pickup, ensuring correct pricing, maintaining product knowledge, and handling checkout processes while following safety guidelines and promoting specials.

Qualifications

• Six or more months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 16 years of age required; 21 years of age required in Louisiana.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares online customer orders by accurately selecting products and organizing for pickup.
• Identifies items out of stock, suggests substitutions, and promotes advertised specials.
• Ensures accurate checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintains product knowledge and food safety standards for quality and freshness.
• Organizes, bags, and loads orders into customers' vehicles.
• Provides friendly customer service and handles questions or complaints.
• Learns product codes and stays familiar with ads and specials.
• Follows tendering policies and procedures for checks, credit, debit, coupons, and EBT.
• Maintains a safe, clean work area and uses proper hazard signs when needed.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to promote product sales.
