Xavier University seeks a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Instruction in the College of Nursing to teach in MSN tracks (FNP focus) with online and on-campus responsibilities beginning Spring 2027. The College offers BSN, MIDAS, online MSN, FNP, PMHNP, AGPCNP, and DNP programs.

Candidates will develop curriculum, coordinate practicum experiences, advise students, and participate in faculty activities; clinical NP practice in Ohio and collaboration with Xavier Health are

Formación

• Must hold an RN license in Ohio or be eligible for licensure in Ohio.
• MSN degree required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Certified and licensed as a Family NP or Adult Gerontology NP in Ohio; 2+ years NP experience.
• At least 2 years of RN clinical experience in a specialty area.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an accredited program.
• Experience teaching adults, graduates, and online instruction preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Teach in online, asynchronous NP tracks of the MSN program; may teach BSN/MSN core depending on needs.
• Provide practicum coordination and teaching in classroom, online, and/or lab/simulation environments.
• Contribute to curriculum development, course content, and assessment of learning.
• Advise students and participate in faculty organizations and university activities.
• Collaborate with co-workers and clinical agencies to support programs.
