Job summary

Xavier University in Cincinnati is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Instruction in the College of Nursing to begin Spring 2027. The role includes teaching in our BSN, MIDAS, and online MSN programs (FNP, PMHNO, AGPCNP, DNP) across campus and online formats.

Successful candidates will contribute to curriculum development, student advising, scholarly activity, and service on committees. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Must hold current and unencumbered RN license in Ohio or be eligible to obtain licensing.
• MSN degree required; doctoral degree preferred (without a doctorate, demonstrable expertise in clinical areas).
• At least 2 years of clinical RN experience in a specialty area.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an accredited program in a content area is preferred.
• Teaching in adult and graduate programs and online instruction is desired.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, teaching methods, and evaluation.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative teamwork.
