Job summary

Xavier University’s College of Nursing seeks a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Instructions to teach in the DNP & MIDAS programs beginning Spring 2027. The position includes online DNP courses and in-person MIDAS coursework with a 12-month workload and potential 9-month option.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, course delivery in classroom, online, and labs, student advising, scholarly activity, and service on program and university committees.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing or related field required.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an accredited program preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, teaching methods, and evaluation processes desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach in online DNP and in-person MIDAS programs; contribute to course development.
• Engage in student advising and guidance; participate in program and university service.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum assessment, evaluation, and scholarly activity.
• Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and scholarly work within the College of Nursing.
