Xavier University’s College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Instructions to teach in the DNP and MIDAS programs. The role includes online DNP and in-person MIDAS instruction, with potential courses in BSN/MSN as needed.

A collaborative, student-centered approach and engagement in curriculum development are expected. 12-month appointment preferred; 9-month option may be considered.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered RN license in Ohio or eligible.
• Doctoral degree in nursing or related field.
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a content-specific area.
• Experience with adult/graduate and online instruction is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Teach in online DNP program and in-person MIDAS program; may teach BSN/MSN as needed.
• Develop and evaluate curriculum, course content, and clinical experiences.
• Advise students and participate in faculty activities.
• Collaborate with clinical agencies and participate in program committees.
• Contribute to scholarly work and professional development.
• Support program and university service.
