Job summary

Xavier University’s College of Nursing seeks experienced, innovative faculty for full‑time, non‑tenure‑track roles to teach in MSN NP tracks starting Spring 2027. The CN offers BSN, MIDAS, online MSN, FNP, PMHNP, AGPCNP, and DNP programs.

Responsibilities include teaching online, coordinating practicum, and curriculum development in a collaborative Jesuit environment. Ideal candidates have an MSN (doctoral preferred), Ohio RN license, NP certification (FNP/AGPCNP), and at least two years of NP

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Ohio.
• MSN degree with doctoral degree preferred (or demonstrable expertise if no doctoral degree).
• Certified and licensed as FNP or AGPCNP in Ohio with a minimum of 2 years NP experience.
• At least 2 years of RN clinical experience in a specialty area.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an accredited program; online instruction desired.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, teaching methods, and evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Teach in online, asynchronous NP tracks of the MSN program; may teach in BSN/MSN core depending on needs.
• Provide practicum coordination when needed and teach in classroom, online, and/or lab/simulation environments.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of curriculum, clinical experiences, and assessment of student learning.
• Participate in advising students and in faculty governance and university committees.
