Job summary

Thread + Seed, a growing San Diego women’s boutique, is seeking an Online Coordinator to balance behind-the-scenes online work with floor support. You will process orders, manage product data, and draft descriptions with AI tools while maintaining brand imagery and inventory accuracy.

You’ll help with packaging, shipment checks, and occasional POS duties, reporting to the Merchandise Manager and E-Commerce + Client Relations Manager. Strong organization and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Stocking and data entry experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new software and AI tools.
• Able to handle online tasks and in-store support.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill online orders accurately and on time.

• Use AI tools to draft and refine product descriptions.
• Perform basic product image edits for a clean, on-brand look.
• Check in, process, and organize incoming shipments.

• Support the retail team as needed — ringing up sales, running the POS/register, and assisting customers on the floor.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-comfortable Online Coordinator to keep our online operation running smoothly while pitching in on the floor when needed. This role reports to our Merchandise Manager and E-Commerce + Client Relations Manager

What you’ll do:

• Process and fulfill online orders accurately and on time
• Enter and manage products in our system, including basic product entry and tagging
• Use AI tools to draft and refine product descriptions
• Perform basic product image edits for a clean, on-brand look
• Check in, process, and organize incoming shipments
• Package orders with care and attention to presentation

What we’re looking for:

• Basic experience with stocking and data entry
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable learning new software and working with AI tools
• Reliable, self-directed, and able to juggle online tasks alongside in-store support
• A team player who’s happy to jump in wherever needed
• Experience with Shopify a plus
