Job summary

Clothes Mentor in Asheville seeks an E‑Commerce Inventory Assistant to generate online listings, photograph items, edit images, and upload products. This role supports our brick‑and‑mortar team and requires careful product presentation and timely uploads.

Ideal candidates have a high school education, know women’s fashion brands, Shopify, and strong communication. Flexible schedule, weekend availability, and up to 20 hours weekly are expected; hours typically 9AM–7PM.

Qualifications

• Experience listing inventory online and processing orders.
• Knowledge of women's fashion brands and Shopify is a plus.
• Strong communication with managers, customers and coworkers.
• Flexible schedule and good time management.
• Strong organization and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create inventory listings for the online store, photograph and edit images, upload listings.
• Research products for high-end inventory as needed.
• Fulfill online orders, acquire products, package for shipping, and print labels.
• Provide customer service communication as needed.
• Coordinate with brick-and-mortar operations to ensure uploads stay current.

E-commerce Inventory Assistant

Role Description

The person in this role will be responsible for generating inventory listings for the online store including photographing inventory, photo editing, and uploading. Product research may be necessary for high end inventory. Fulfillment of online orders including product acquisition, packaging as needed for fragility, and creating shipping labels is also a responsibility of this role. Customer service communication on an as-needed basis. Our online store is an extension of our brick-and-mortar business and must work fluidly with front of house and stay on top of uploads.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge

• High school education


• Knowledge of women's fashion brands and Shopify is a HUGE plus


• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, customers, and co-workers
