Job summary

Hall County Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for a 1:1 support role. Under supervision, you will assist certified staff with instructional activities, reinforce reading, math, and language arts, and help with assessments and materials. You may supervise non-instructional areas and accompany students on field trips.

The position emphasizes inclusion, collaboration with teachers and families, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out instructions written or oral.
• Ability to assist with basic reading, writing, math and computer activities.
• Ability to maintain student confidentiality and work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified staff in instructional activities and prepare materials.
• Supervise students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with behavior management and safety in classroom settings.
• Support non-instructional duties such as lunch, bus, and playground supervision.
• Accompany students on field trips and assist with parent communications as needed.
