Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• GA Paraprofessional Certificate or 2 years of college plus paraprofessional assessment.
• Two years of experience with children preferred; in-person instruction in school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers to meet instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students with disabilities in classroom and community.
• Provide small group or individualized instruction aligned with IEP and lesson plans.
• Collect instructional and behavioral data for each student.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans for students with disabilities.
• Communicate with teachers and parents about student issues.
• Assist during standardized testing and prepare daily lesson materials.
