Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, New Jersey, seeks a dedicated One to One Observer to provide constant, vigilant care for patients requiring close supervision. You will maintain a safe setting, interact calmly with patients, and support the healthcare team in daily rounds and patient care.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and completion of an observer course or equivalent. It offers full-time hours, day shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
