Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a One-to-One Observer for a part-time daytime role in Marlton, NJ. The position provides constant one-to-one observation of a patient, maintaining a safe and calm environment while supporting the healthcare team. A high school diploma or GED and completion of an Observer course are required.

The hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $21.33 and may vary with experience. You will communicate changes in patient status to the RN, assist in orientation of the team, and perform

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient, ensuring a safe and calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
