Virtua Health in Marlton is seeking a One to One Observer to provide constant observation of a patient in a calm, safe environment. You will monitor behavior and respond to changes in patient status in collaboration with the nursing team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an Observer course, and strong communication skills. The hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $21.33, with full benefits for part-time staff and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Training/Certifications/Licensure: Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
