Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a dedicated One to One Observer to provide constant one-to-one patient observation, ensuring a safe environment and calm interactions while supporting the healthcare team and patient families.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, and successful completion of an Observer course or equivalent. The role is On-Site, Part-Time with 1st Shift (United States of America), and hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.33.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
