Job summary

Bridgewell in Danvers, MA, is seeking a Classroom Aide 3 to provide one-to-one support to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities in daily living activities.

You will participate in Day Services Plan objectives, collect data, document behaviors, and support program operations while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly, with opportunities for on-call rotations and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Six months experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, developmental training program, or related experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of principles of normalization, behavior management, and human rights.

Responsibilities

• Work with and train individuals on Day Services Plan objectives.
• Data collection of goals for each individual.
• Daily documentation of medical data or target behaviors.
• Participate in all general programmatic duties (arrivals, breaks, lunches, departures).
• Maintain certifications including FA/CPR and PABC.
