Job summary

Bridgewell in Lynn, MA is seeking a Classroom Aide 3 to provide one-to-one support to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities. The role focuses on daily living activities and documentation, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm (30 hours per week).

You will train participants, collect progress data, and maintain program records while adhering to rights and confidentiality. A high school diploma or GED and relevant disability-services experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Six months experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, developmental training program, or related experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of principles of normalization, behavior management, and human rights.
• Valid driver's license and one year of driving experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities.
• Train individuals on Day Services Plan objectives.
• Collect data on goals for each individual and document medical data or target behaviors.
• Participate in program operations including arrivals, breaks, and departures.
• Maintain program upkeep, follow cleaning schedule, report maintenance issues.
• Protect individuals' rights and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Complete required administrative duties and participate in meetings.
• Maintain certifications including FA/CPR and PABC.
• Engage in other duties as assigned.
