Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a dedicated physical therapist to work one-on-one with a student in a school-based setting. The role features a consistent one-hour weekly session and aims to deliver high-quality care aligned with educational and therapeutic goals.

You will conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions while collaborating with educators and families to support the student’s growth and independence.

Qualifications

• Active RI Physical Therapy license.
• Experience delivering PT in schools or pediatric settings.
• Knowledge of IEPs and school-based documentation.
• Strong communication with educators and families.
• Must be fully vaccinated for student safety.
• Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services to a school-aged student during weekly sessions.
• Develop treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align with educational goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to support growth.
• Document sessions and maintain compliant records.
• Advocate for student access, accommodations, and well-being.
