Job summary

ProCare Therapy in the Northampton area (MA) seeks a school-based physical therapist or PTA for a contract position supporting elementary and middle school students. The caseload is small, 11–15 students, with three days per week totaling 18 hours.

You will evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans, document progress, collaborate with teachers and families, and participate in IEP meetings to help students reach their goals.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts PT or PTA licensure.
• Prior school-based therapy experience valued.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Commitment to individualized, student-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for a small caseload.
• Track progress and maintain clear, timely documentation.
• Consult with teachers and staff to incorporate therapy goals into daily activities.
• Engage families and caregivers to ensure ongoing support for each student.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
