Job summary

Lees Summit R-7 School District is seeking a Paraprofessional Specialist for the 2025-26 school year to support the instructional program within classrooms, working one-on-one with at-risk students and following IEP plans. Must have 60 college credit hours or pass the MO paraprofessional test.

Qualifications

• Must have 60 college credit hours or pass the Paraprofessional Test in the State of MO.
• Ability to adapt classroom activities to support objectives and follow IEP goals.
• Strong record keeping and data collection to monitor student progress.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities and materials under teacher direction to support objectives.
• Communicates with professionals to assist in evaluating progress and implementing IEP goals.
• Collects student data to monitor growth and inform IEP/BIP revisions.
• Provides accommodations and modifications to increase accessibility in general and special education.
• Maintains confidentiality and accurate documentation as required by policies.
